Live Media GPS for Blackberry OS 4.7 and above allows you to record video broadcasts with a GPS track which can be uploaded and viewed back with real-time mapping via your PC web browser.

Use the links below to download a ZIP file containing the desktop Application Loader files. Having downloaded the file unzip it and select the directory that you extracted the files into from the app loader.

Getting Started with Live Media GPS

When the application shows GPS OK you can use the Record menu item - Please note that if your phone prompts you to allow the application to use GPS, then select Allow (do not prompt again) and then exist and restart the app.

Before you can record for the first time you need to create yourself an account - simply enter your chosen user name and a password of your choice. If the user name has already been taken, you will need to choose a different name.
Please keep a note of your user name and password, because you will need these to log in to the website.

Recording, Playback and Uploading your broadcasts

•Select the Record item
•After the Video recorder starts, click the record button.
•When you have finished capturing your broadcast click the pause button.
•Now wait a few seconds for the video recorder to write the file to the device.
•Next click the folder icon to save your recording.
•Finally click the escape key to return to the main menu.
•To upload or watch back your broadcast select the Files item, then select the file you want to view / upload.

Playing back your broadcasts on the web

•From your PC go to the Live Media GPS website
•You may need to install Microsoft Silverlight.
•Log in using your user name and password.
•You will now see your control panel with your GPS broadcasts.
•Select the broadcast you want to play back from the list and they the Play button.
•From the Control Panel you can add broadcasts to your own page or publish them to the main website.

Internet Connectivity

If you have problems with the application connecting to the Internet, make sure you have set-up your TCP/IP settings on your phone via Options | Advanced Settings | TCP

Problem & Bug reporting

The beta version of the application contains a debug log file, if you encounter any problems, please send us the file via the "About" / "Debug log" screen.
