IncaX Geocaster for Android phones allows you to broadcast Live or record and upload your Geocasts to the website.

Mobile Requirements

•Android OS 2.1 or above (also available for 1.5 and above on request)
•Video Camera
•Internal GPS

OTA Download
First make sure you have enabled downloads from "Other Sources" - you can find this option under setting on your phone.

Using the browser on your phone enter

Then click the download link to install the application

Getting Started

Geocaster is the new name for Live Media GPS and provides a simpler user interface.

To use the application?s Geocasting capabilities you need to first create yourself an IncaX account

To create a new account tap the video camera icon, then select Private unless you are an IncaX Enterpise customer, in which case select Enterprise.
Next enter a user name and password of your choice (both must be longer that four characters). If the user name you have chosen has already been taken try a different name.
If you are an Enterprise customer you must enter your Customer Key.

Broadcasting

Use the Broadcast option to transmit a Live video stream (no audio) along with your location. Your broadcasts are viewable on the website and on another mobile devices.
When you select the Broadcast option the application will first wait for a GPS location.
Then press the Broadcast icon or select Broadcast from the menu.
To view your Live broadcasts login to the website (www,IncaX.net) from your PC and click your Live Link on the control panel.
To stop broadcasting use the "Back" button or tap the Broadcast icon again.

Recording

Use the Record option to create full video and audio Geocasts - for ideas on what works best, please visit the website from your PC or Mac.
To start a recorded Geocast tap the video recorder icon or select Record from the menu.

Uploading

All recordings are automatically uploaded in the background. By default the application will only upload when a WIFI connection is available. To upload over any connection disable the application's setting for WIFI

Viewing your Geocasts

To view your Geocasts log in to www.incax.net from your PC or Mac

  Close video camera when you finish recording or broadcasting
• Memory buffer
  Sets the amount of memory to use. If you get an Out Of Memory error or a Force Close select "Small" for the memory buffer
